AIPMT 2019
- (All India Pre Medical Test) has been now
replaced with NEET 2019 (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test).
- NEET
has taken the place of AIPMT from the year 2016. It is a gateway to get
admission in MBBS/BDS programmes in various government and private
institutions.
- Every year AIPMT (now NEET) is conducted by the Central
Board of Secondary Education.
- Almost, every medical institution (except
JIPMER and AIIMS) considers the AIPMT score for providing admission to
MBBS and BDS courses. Through this article, candidates can get the

NEET Exam Dates 2019
The tentative exam schedule of AIPMT (NEET 2018) is given below:

Age Criteria:
- The upper age limit is 25 years. There is 5 years of
age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
- UR candidates must born on or between 08.05.1993 and
01.01.2002.
- For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the age should lie between
08.05.1988 and 01.01.2002.
Qualification Criteria
- Qualifying Exam:
Candidates must pass the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry
Biology/Bio-technology and English individually.
- Candidates those appear/qualify the three years of B.Sc
Degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-Technology including
practical subjects are also eligible to apply.
- Minimum Marks:
A candidate must obtain minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry,
Biology/Bio-technology taken together. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the marks
in qualifying exam should be 40%.
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates who are in final year
of qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for AIMPT (NEET) 2018.
NEW NEET Exam Pattern 2019
- Mode of Exam:
The exam will be held in offline mode (pen paper mode) OR online Mode.
- Number of Attempts:
Maximum of three attempts will be allowed for candidates is rejected . The number of
attempts will be counted from 2017.
- Type of Questions:
The question will be Objective Type Questions.
- Number of Questions: Total
of 180 questions will be asked.
- Duration of exam: The
exam would be of 3 hours.
- Languages:
The question paper will be available in total 10 languages which are
Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese,
oriya and Kannada.
- Marking Scheme:
4 marks will be given for each correct response.
Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect
response
